We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team, providing full-time support for commercial construction projects across the United States.
KEY OPPORTUNITY: Our ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry, coupled with the ability to travel as needed. You will be responsible for various tasks including:
• Executing commercial renovations and buildouts
• Developing job proposals and quotes
• Utilizing basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
• Adhering to OSHA requirements
• Building relationships with customers through effective communication
• Providing detailed documentation of repairs, including measurements, pictures, and repair recommendations
• Working overtime and being on-call as required by workload and emergency situations
• Traveling and working overnight shifts when necessary
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
• Proficient in carpentry tasks such as partition framing with metal/wood studs, and installation of cabinetry, counters, doors, and windows
• Experienced in painting (both interior and exterior)
• Skilled in flooring installation, including VCT, LVT, tile, carpet squares, and cove base
BASIC KNOWLEDGE IN:
• Plumbing tasks like replacement and installation of sinks, faucets, toilets, and basic drainage and water lines (licensed plumbers are encouraged to apply)
• Electrical work, including light fixture, switch, and outlet replacements, as well as basic data connections and minor issue diagnostics (licensed electricians are also encouraged to apply)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• At least 3 years of experience in construction or commercial maintenance
• Ability to provide job proposals and quotes
• Must supply basic construction hand tools
• Completion of OSHA 10-hour training within the first 3 months of employment (cost covered by employer)
