General description:
The Concrete Carpenter plays a critical role in constructing durable concrete structures. As an essential member of our team, you will work closely with others under the guidance of a Foreman to ensure successful project completion. This position requires strong hands-on skills and a keen attention to detail. Responsibilities include erecting and setting forms for various concrete infrastructures, including foundations, buildings, and other site work, following strict specifications and drawings.
Responsibilities:
• Fabricate and assemble tilt-up panels with precision.
• Form footings, column pads, and other essential structural concrete components.
• Install and align embedded items such as anchor bolts, inserts, and lifting hardware.
• Assist with layout and project planning as needed.
• Strip forms after concrete panels are poured.
• Maintain tools and work environment in excellent condition.
Requirements:
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform demanding tasks.
• Familiarity with tilt-up panels and related processes is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary.
• Willingness to work weekends when required.
• Able to provide your own basic carpentry hand tools.
• OSHA Certification or a willingness to obtain it is a plus.
Working conditions:
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
