Tague Lumber is looking for a passionate and skilled In-House Carpenter to join our dynamic team. This hands-on role involves supporting the upkeep, repair, and improvement of our facilities and select customer locations. What You'll Do:
In this position, you will collaborate closely with the General Manager at various locations, playing a significant role in maintaining and enhancing our properties. Your expertise will directly contribute to the safety, aesthetic appeal, and functionality of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Performing general carpentry, repairs, and renovations at multiple sites
• Completing finish carpentry, framing, trim work, and installation projects
• Installing and repairing windows, doors, kitchens, flooring, and siding
• Handling drywall repairs, painting, and general building maintenance
• Supporting routine upkeep of building systems and facility infrastructure
• Assisting with the ordering of materials and supplies for assigned projects
• Traveling to Tague Lumber locations and customer sites

• Strong background in carpentry and general construction
• Experience in:
• Drywall repair and painting
• Door and window installation/repair
• Kitchen installation
• Trim and finish carpentry
• Flooring installation
• Framing and basic structural work
• Exterior siding repairs
• Light electrical and plumbing work
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Solid mathematical abilities for measuring and layout work
• Strong customer service skills and professional interaction
• Effective time management and willingness to work extended hours when needed
• Willingness to travel locally
