Job Overview: We are seeking highly motivated and self-sufficient individuals to join our dynamic retail division as Skilled Finish Carpenters. If you are driven to deliver top-quality results in a fast-paced environment, we want you on our team. Ideal candidates will possess both rough and finished carpentry skills, along with light construction experience.
Please note: This position requires travel, and your work location will vary depending on the project.
Skills and Experience:
• Experience in drywall finishing, tile installation, and painting is a plus.
• Experience with store remodels, setup crews, big-box retail environments, and new store openings is highly desired.
Requirements:
• OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days; training costs will be covered if certification is achieved.
• Practical knowledge of hand and power tools is essential.
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus.
• You must provide your own tools, including tape measures, box blades, screwdrivers, drills, and saws (a complete tool list will be provided).
• Possess reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to safely climb ladders.
• Willingness and ability to work overnight shifts as needed.
• Must be open to traveling throughout the US for retail projects.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including safely lifting up to 80 pounds.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct yourself in a manner that reflects positively on the company.
• Interact effectively with the public and complete necessary paperwork including safety reports and timecards.
• Retail remodel experience preferred.
• Wallpaper installation per manufacturer instructions.
• Painting and framing/drywall experience.
• Flooring installation (VCT, VLT, carpet).
• Basic electrical disconnects knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in display/fixture assembly.
• Preferred skills in taping and mudding to a level 4 finish.
• Basic experience with Excel and Word documents is beneficial.
• Ability to read and respond to company emails.
