Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and related trades, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics to deliver high-quality craftsmanship on diverse projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on restoration projects, contributing to the successful completion of construction and renovation initiatives.
Duties
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project plans.
• Construct, install, and repair structures such as framing, cabinetry, siding, roofing, flooring, tile laying
• Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and other foundational tasks.
• Assist with caulking, painting, and finishing tasks as needed.
• Measure and cut materials precisely to specifications for various carpentry applications.
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment; adhere to safety protocols at all times.
• Contribute to restoration projects by repairing or refurbishing existing structures.
• Handle heavy lifting and physical tasks required for construction activities.
Skills
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for accurate project execution.
• Experience with flooring installation, tile laying, and cabinetry.
• Familiarity with plumbing systems and electrical components is a plus.
• Strong woodworking skills including cabinetry and general carpentry.
• Experience with restoration projects or handyman work is advantageous.
• Ability to lift heavy materials safely; physically capable of performing demanding tasks throughout the workday.
Pay: $25.00 per hour
