Responsibilities:
• Perform daily inspections and maintenance on our iconic wooden roller coasters to ensure thrilling experiences for our guests.
• Install safety features including catwalks, fencing, and additional woodwork to uphold safety standards for both guests and employees.
• Remodel offices and facilities by crafting custom cabinetry, building shelves, installing flooring, and hanging doors.
• Design and build unique furniture and cabinetry as per blueprints or innovative concepts.
• Cut and install essential park components like glass, countertops, and queue lines.
• Repair ceramic tiles, patch holes, and winterize buildings to maintain quality.
• Expertly repair roofs, gutters, and drop ceilings for efficient upkeep.
• Pour concrete for various structures and repairs, showcasing your skilled craftsmanship.
• Conduct thorough pre-opening safety checks on rides and facilities, prioritizing safety.
• Utilize a wide range of tools and equipment to complete tasks with versatility.
• Support the park with additional carpentry and maintenance tasks as required.
Qualifications:
• A valid State Driver's License and at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 1 year of carpentry experience.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions—sun, heat, cold, rain—and at heights up to 200 feet.
• A strong sense of teamwork coupled with a positive, proactive attitude.
• Capability to maintain clear, written records of work completed.
• Willingness to respond promptly and professionally to radio calls.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Your own reliable set of hand tools.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings, with overtime as required.
