Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finish Carpenter and Foreman to join our team. As a Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for completing various carpentry projects, including trim carpentry, door hanging, framing, etc. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently and the ability to run a crew on site.
Duties:
- Perform all aspects of finish carpentry, including but not limited to:
- Installing trim, baseboards, and crown molding
- Hanging doors and installing door hardware
- Building and installing cabinets and shelving units
- Repairing and replacing damaged woodwork
- Metal stud framing
- Ensure all work is completed according to specifications and meets quality standards
- Collaborate and manage with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Proficient in various finish carpentry techniques, including:
- Caulking and sealing joints
- Metal stud framing
- Water damage restoration
- Trim carpentry
- Frame carpentry
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret construction drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
