Job Description
We are seeking experienced carpenters who take pride in their work, have a strong work ethic, and can work efficiently as part of a team.
The successful candidates will be involved in various residential construction projects, including new home construction and additions.
Key Responsibilities
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other construction materials.
• Construct and install building frameworks, including walls, floors, and roof structures.
• Install windows, doors, cabinets, drywall, and other fixtures.
• Inspect, repair, and replace damaged framework and structures.
• Sand, stain, and finish wood surfaces.
• Complete work according to project specifications, applicable building codes, and safety requirements.
• Use tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment safely.
• Identify workplace hazards and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Work with team members to complete assigned tasks and meet project deadlines.
Qualifications and Skills
• Experience in carpentry, including framing, installation, repairs, and finishing.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and take accurate measurements.
• Proficiency with carpentry hand tools and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
