Experienced construction carpenter needed for physical, on-site work using blueprints, measuring tools, and hand tools across commercial and residential settings.
This permanent, full-time Carpenter position requires five years or more of experience and secondary school graduation. Work includes construction, commercial, and residential projects, with responsibilities spanning structural framing, installations, renovations, and worker supervision. The schedule may include mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, shifts, early mornings, and overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
• Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches for work requirements
• Prepare code-compliant layouts using measuring tools
• Assemble wood, steel, and other construction materials
• Build foundations, floors, walls, and roof systems
• Supervise one to two workers on assigned tasks
Requirements:
• Five years or more of carpentry experience
• Secondary school graduation certificate
• Valid driver's licence
• Hand tools and required safety equipment
• Ability to handle heavy loads and work at heights
